The Northrop Grumman X-47B is a demonstration unmanned aerial combat aircraft (UCAV) designed for carrier-based operations. Developed by the US Defense technology company Northrop Grumman, the X-47 project began as part of the J-UCAS program of DARPA and later became part of the Unmanned Aerial Combat System Demonstration (UCAS-D) of the United States Navy. event.
